Steaks prepared to the point, very tasty. Everything prepared appropriately, nice wait staff.

The food was very good. The service is good but there is still room for improvement. I thought it was great that there was a card with an allergen breakdown for every single menu component.

A great steak house. Friendly service, good service and above all: delicious steaks! Our fillet steaks were perfect, as were the side dishes. And the house wine is also very good. Conclusion: can be recommended!

Highly recommended, good food and very friendly staff. If you think it's closed, try to open the door anyway! Although the place looks like it's closed, they are open on the first floor. (It's written at the entrance, but because it's dark inside, I was a bit unsure)

Steak was ordered through and dry instead of medium - after a complaint I got a new plate with a good piece of meat without any problems. Still no comparison to Blockhouse

Today a friend celebrated his 60th birthday there, the service and everything else were excellent! The waitress Robin 👌🏻 is highly recommended

Steaks good but not outstanding ... prices barely acceptable for the price. Toilets smelled and waiter wasn't quite up to it ...

Our steaks were unfortunately not medium, but rather well fried. We also complained about this, got a new steak, so far everything would have been good. However, the service was more than rude, not to say cheeky. Guests at the table next to us were also "weakly" addressed and instructed. All in all, unfortunately, no recommendation.

I love steaks. was there late afternoon to eat. Flank steak was ordered medium. I should have changed my mind after the waitress said "if we can do it". But you are very confident. It's a shame when it almost got through to me in the middle, it was still very slightly medium. Since we were sitting outside I didn't see any waitresses either ... so I think a complaint would not have been worth it. But otherwise the salad buffet had a large selection, unfortunately a few bowls were empty. I can only say that the waitress was friendly.

Get a lot expected little. According to the note on the table, each table and each salt / pepper shaker is cleaned and disinfected after each guest. Puff cake .. glasses collected and sometimes not even wiped. Now and then someone wiped all the tables with a single rag and pushed the leftover food off the table. Tomato soup was a bit bland. 2 medium steaks ordered rarely one fit the other was almost done. Meiskolben pupst dry. The operator always had the mouth / nose protection just above the mouth. I don't have to have it again

Our salad wasn't that nice, had brown spots and that's a no-go for a restaurant. I don't want to hear you could have said something. The cook has to avoid it and that before it goes to the guest.

The staff was absolutely wonderful, the location is brilliant and the food was exactly as we have gotten used to from other Maredo restaurants. Would definently recommend to others.

Very busy steak house, good food at usual prices. Unfortunately a bit understaffed. The service was really rushed but very friendly. All in all, unfortunately, not a cozy atmosphere as is usual in steak houses. Therefore only 3 stars.

Not well cooked food, the steak is dry. Price is quite cheap. Super long waiting time. I was told at the beginning no seats, but I was too tired to move, so I sat at an empty table to wait for someone leaving. But later another waiter came and asked me what to order, then we had our foods at that 'waiting table'. Very strange experience.

It was just fantastic. Top service from the first to the last minute and the food was excellent. Price performance honestly top.

I had won a "Dinner for 2" through a Maredo competition on Facebook! - We were very enthusiastic, the service was super friendly (as always) and the entire meal with dessert was a pleasure bomb. Thank you for this great afternoon / evening and we'd love to come back!

Nice and friendly service. It's a big place with the possibility to sit outside in the church forecourt. It's clean. That was it. When ordering drinks, a shattered glass came up. The Google rating of €€ is not correct, rather €€€. Prices would be justified if the food was more. A salad with chicken breast grill skewer for € 10. it is exactly a skewer with 3 tiny pieces of chicken breast (surcharge of 3 € on the 7 from the salad!). With a salad you get the feeling that you've got the leftovers from the kitchen. We even found a large part of the hard core of the iceberg lettuce! The skewer was far from hot when it came to the table. The meat and the potato wedges were cold. Even with the rump steak, you get the feeling that the weight was measured after the meat was soaked in water. The lumps were very small and no more hot when they got to the table.

Friendly staff, but service is incredibly slow. Like, 45 minutes for 2 beers slow.

It was not without good reason that Maredo filed for bankruptcy in NRW and closed all restaurants. I was much more astonished here in Leipzig! I thought about going for a long time. The staff came first. The flank steak ordered, actually an insider tip because it should be particularly tender. As I said. Should. It was well done for this chain. But it wasn't tender. Unfortunately. Too bad. The side dishes went that way too. Maybe I'm too critical, because the restaurant was well attended despite the heat.

Great staff, very friendly. Steaks are OK, will go back for those. Beers are disappointing, both weissbeer and dark beer quite bland. Good spot though..

Nice place in the city centre. Although asking for a medium rare cooking for my fillet, it was overcooked. Desserts to avoid, the meat is of very good quality. Wine list is minimal, but of decent quality.

Great Filetsteak and super service

Food & service were fabulous. Some confusion over language / with one item but sorted quickly and without fuss. Good, fresh salad bar, rare beef was delicious! Every plan to come back next time we're in Leipzig. Thank you!

I love this place. Thee food is superb and staff is very polite and children friendly. I usually go for rare (english) steak on a stone plate & salad from buffet & beer. My wife likes fillet steak with salad & rose or red wine. If you are dining with kids there is a small table/corner where they can paint or read books or play with some toys. It'll keep them busy for a while for sure😉, so you can manage to eat your dish in piece. Restrooms are clean, so families with kids, no worries, you are covered e2e. Anytime again & hopefully very soon😀

the sirlion steak was great and very tasty. the waiters were very friendly and concerned. the salad bar is great. lovely cute and clean environment. Those who go to leipzig don't look for other restaurants. In the meantime, the meat of fajitins was not very delicious.
